What many people don't know about these wonderful avenues for making money is that you can make money off of the efforts of other webmasters in the world. Why would you want to do that? WHY NOT!? Hey, sometimes the people you recruit to those affiliate programs do not make you a penny but if you get one out there making good it is just easy money. An advertising program offering a monetary incentive for webmasters to drive
traffic to the advertiser's website. This eliminates the necessity for the
advertiser to find websites with related content to list their banners. It also
increases the response rate by giving the "affiliate" websites a stake in the
response rate. Affiliate programs are a great plan for the websites offering
them, but the websites that participate often become underpaid sales
representatives.

In other words, you sign up on the website that sells a product and then they provide you with links that goes to their product or service pages. When a website visitor comes to your site, then you get credit for advertising their products with a commission. Oftentimes, it is a percentage of the sale made, but sometimes it is pay per click, pay per lead, or some other action generated on their site.
